Our last course of 2026 is running now; the next intake begins in January 2027. These are full-year figures.

From 292 students in 2025 to 478 in 2026. Over the same year the teaching team roughly doubled, to 16 active volunteer teachers.

107 deliveries are individually recorded from April 2024 onward — 59 laptops, 40 tablets and ChromeBoxes, and 8 phones, reaching 105 students. Earlier distributions were made before individual record-keeping began, so the whole-school total is given as 150+.

Providing safe access to education for women and girls, in a context where sexual violence was used systematically as a weapon of war.

Approximately 55% of our students live in IDP camps, overcoming intermittent power, shared devices and unreliable connectivity in Duhok and Sinjar.
Academic standards
What a certificate means here
Attendance is the gate. A student below 80% attendance receives nothing, however well they perform on the test. That is why our certificate numbers are lower than our student numbers, and why they mean something.

Student counts are given as ranges because matching records is imperfect in both directions: relatives who share a phone number can be merged into one person, and spelling differences can count one person twice. We publish a conservative figure within each range.
We do not publish an attendance or completion rate, because we do not yet hold attendance data of a quality that would support one. We would rather report nothing than report a number we cannot stand behind.
