We’re happy to welcome 65+ new students to YazidiAtSchool, ranging from beginners to advanced levels. Our team has also grown, with several new teachers joining us, from Argentina, France and Greece—bringing with them valuable experience, near-native English, strong commitment, and a heartfelt connection to our students.
Plus, we’re excited to announce two brand-new classes: Soft Skills, taught by Professor Selar Othman, and Computer Skills, led by Nasr Alyas—our IT magician. These courses will give our students valuable tools beyond language, preparing them even better for the future.
This past spring, we were grateful to host several inspiring workshops led by Sagar, a lawyer from India currently studying for his Master’s in Hamburg. He found us through a volunteer network and shared engaging sessions on world landmarks, CV writing, interview preparation, and more.
We would love to welcome more volunteers to offer workshops on topics that might interest our students. These can be one-time sessions, open to students across different classes or tailored to specific levels. If you have an idea and a passion to share, we’d love to hear from you!
Thanks to your generous donations, we continue to send collected and refurbished used laptops for Yazidi University students. Smartphones are especially important, as many new students want to join our school but don’t have a device to access our online classes. Your support is making education possible for them.
