End of 2025

A Year of Growth and Professionalization

2025 has been a year of growth and professionalization for YazidiAtSchool. Thanks to the dedication and flexibility of our volunteer teachers, students have continued learning despite significant technical challenges — including limited or no Wi-Fi, reliance on smartphones, and cameras off due to data and cultural circumstances.

Many students have shown clear progress in confidence, participation, and language skills. This year, we welcomed [number to confirm] new student registrations, reflecting the growing need for accessible education. We warmly invite new volunteers to join our inspiring team.

New Academic Director

We are pleased to welcome our new Academic Director, Azra Qasi, who will oversee curriculum development, teacher coordination, and academic quality across the programme.

Preparing for Winter Quarter 2026

We are preparing for the Winter Quarter, with student numbers remaining high. To meet this need, we are looking for at least five additional volunteer teachers, particularly at B1 level. If you know educators who could volunteer online, please share this opportunity.

Contributions and Support

This year, we received 75 laptops and 32 smartphones, updated and distributed for student use.

Laptops go to university students (only 5% have their own).

Smartphones go to students without devices.

We also received much-needed donations of winter clothing and generous financial support, which helped cover subscriptions, internet, and technology updates. A special thank-you to donors who supported our IT specialist’s essential work with a year-end contribution.

Thank You

Your support makes a real difference. Teachers provide safe, supportive learning spaces, while donors ensure connectivity, equipment, and continuity. Together, we help students rebuild confidence and pursue education with dignity.

We look forward to continuing our work in the Winter Quarter.
